Every year, once International Baccalaureate (IB) results are released, they become a key focus for international school families.
The results for the May 2026 exam session were released in July 2026. According to the currently published 2026 IB results, Singapore’s average score reached 35.67, higher than the global average of 30.88. Based on the results published so far, a number of Singapore international schools also delivered strong IB performances this year.
For families currently planning an international school application in Singapore, IB results can serve as an important reference for understanding a school’s academic performance. However, figures such as the average score, pass rate, and proportion of high-scoring students cannot, on their own, represent a school’s overall educational outcomes. Different schools vary in graduating cohort size, curriculum design, student background, and development focus — so how these results are interpreted matters more than simply comparing numbers.
Below is a roundup of some Singapore international schools that have released their 2026 IB results and delivered standout performances, to help parents quickly get a sense of this year’s results across schools.
2026 Standout IB Results Among Some Singapore International Schools

The above data is drawn from the IB organisation and each school’s own published 2026 results.¹
What Do This Year’s Results Tell Us?
01 | Several Schools Scored Well Above the Global Average
Based on the results published so far, a number of Singapore international schools recorded IB averages above the 2026 global average of 30.88. Among them, Tanglin Trust School (38.7), North London Collegiate School Singapore (38.16), Global Indian International School (37.5), and Dulwich College Singapore (37.5) all scored notably above the global average.
At the same time, UWCSEA, Overseas Family School, Invictus International School, Canadian International School, Stamford American International School, and XCL World Academy also released their 2026 IB results, giving parents further reference points for how different schools performed.
That said, a school’s average score is not the same as its overall educational outcomes, and it should not be used directly as a basis for ranking schools. Since graduating cohort size, student background, and curriculum design vary across schools, parents should interpret average scores alongside a school’s overall curriculum and development direction.
02 | High-Scoring Performance Is Also Worth Noting
Beyond the average score, the number of students achieving the full 45 points and the proportion of students scoring 40 or above are also important references for understanding a graduating cohort’s performance.
For example, in 2026, Tanglin Trust School and Global Indian International School each had 5 students achieve the full 45 points; North London Collegiate School Singapore and Dulwich College Singapore each had 4 students achieve the full 45 points.
In terms of high-scoring proportions, 38.18% of students at North London Collegiate School Singapore scored 40 or above, while 40% of students at Dulwich College Singapore reached 40 or above.
That said, the number of high scorers should still be understood alongside cohort size. The number of students sitting the IB exams varies across schools, so simply comparing raw numbers does not fully reflect a school’s overall performance.
For this reason, IB results are best used as one reference point when choosing a school, not the sole criterion. Whether a school’s curriculum, learning environment, and admission requirements match a child’s academic background and future plans is equally worth considering.
