Goal:
Student F is currently a Grade 2 student at the Canadian International School. The family approached us in May 2025 to discuss their intention for Student F to transfer to a Singapore local school. We advised them that based on Student F’s age and the proposed timeline, the earliest possible entry point into a Singapore local school would be Primary 3 in January 2026.
Solution:
As Student F is applying for Primary 3 admission, he is required to sit for the CEQ A2 examination and achieve the required score before AEIS registration in July. Based on our English and Mathematics diagnostic assessments, Student F shows strong proficiency in Mathematics but requires support in English. With less than two months for preparation, we registered him for a June CEQ test date and provided tailored, focused CEQ preparation led by our experienced educator.
Outcome:
Student F achieved the required CEQ score, after which we proceeded with his application for the AEIS Mathematics examination held in September 2025. He successfully passed the AEIS examination and was subsequently offered a place in Primary 3 at River Valley Primary School, commencing in January 2026.
