Goal:
A 13O Single Family Office engaged us to source a highly capable Executive Assistant to be based in Singapore, serving as the principal’s on-the-ground representative during their extended absence. The role demanded someone who could manage day-to-day affairs independently, exercise sound judgement without direct oversight, and communicate effectively across languages to support the principal’s broader operational needs.
Solution:
We conducted thorough research to identify candidates with strong executive support experience and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, discretion, and cultural fluency suited to a family office environment. Beyond matching the technical requirements of the role, we assessed each candidate’s temperament and professional maturity, qualities that matter significantly when an EA effectively becomes the principal’s proxy in their absence.
Outcome:
We successfully placed a bilingual Executive Assistant capable of managing the principal’s Singapore affairs independently, giving the principal confidence that all matters including sensitive documentation and stakeholder communications would be handled with the highest level of competence and care.
