Goal:
Family X is a Canadian family with two children, currently in Grade 7 and Grade 4. They engaged our services in March 2025 and are seeking admission to Tier One international schools, namely Dulwich College and United World College South East Asia (UWCSEA), for the August 2026 intake.
Solution:
Although the children had decent English proficiency, they were unfamiliar with the admission test requirements. Our customised lesson plan focused on English, CAT4 skills, and Mathematics. We supported the Grade 7 student with UWCSEA’s handwritten statement and also prepared an optional portfolio for both children to showcase their strengths and achievements, enhancing their overall application.
Outcome:
Both children were offered a place in Dulwich College a week after application. They were also accepted into UWCSEA’s waiting pool three days after application, and both were subsequently offered places. They ultimately accepted UWCSEA’s offer and will begin their studies in August 2026.
